Reconciliation Lead

WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
  • Managing a team of reconciliation specialists: setting priorities, coordinating daily work, mentoring, and supporting their growth
  • Leading the reconciliation process across all payment flows: acquiring, payouts, P2P, refunds, chargebacks
  • Overseeing and executing daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of transactions with large volumes
  • Matching data between internal systems and statements from multiple banks and payment providers
  • Identifying, analyzing, and resolving discrepancies, including complex and time-sensitive cases
  • Collaborating closely with accounting, risk, and support teams to resolve reconciliation issues
  • Preparing financial reports and dashboards based on reconciliation results
  • Driving automation and process improvements in collaboration with product and engineering teams
  • Developing documentation and internal controls to improve transparency and audit readiness
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
  • At least 3+ years of experience in payment systems, fintech, or banking with a strong focus on reconciliation
  • At least 1+ year of experience in a Lead role or in a position with clear ownership over reconciliation processes
  • Strong understanding of card payments transaction processing principles
  • Hands-on experience reconciling data across multiple payment providers, banks, and internal systems
  • Knowledge of payment infrastructure and cash flow principles
  • Experience with reconciliation automation (scripts, tools, dashboards)
  • Proficient in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Ability to work with large volumes of data, identify errors, and analyze discrepancies
  • Excellent leadership, team-formation, and communication skills
  • Fluent Russian and confident English level
