Data Analyst (for our partner group)

WHAT YOU'LL BE OWNING
  • Metrics & BI — design the metrics framework and dashboards from scratch, maintain the metrics dictionary
  • Data model — review schema, identify gaps, propose what to capture and how
  • Transaction & fraud analytics — auth rates, decline analysis, 3DS performance, Visa VAMP / MC MMP monitoring, chargebacks
  • Financial analytics — merchant P&L, interchange tracking, scheme fees, IC++ vs blended pricing simulation, revenue forecasting
  • Settlement & reconciliation — timeliness, exceptions, nostro monitoring
  • Merchant analytics — health scoring, cohort analysis, onboarding funnel, segmentation
  • Compliance & regulatory — daily safeguarding reconciliation, AML stats, scheme reports, CBC submissions
  • Executive reporting — weekly/monthly reviews with insights and recommendations

Must have:

  • 3+ years as a data / BI analyst
  • Advanced SQL (window functions, CTEs, query optimization)
  • Confident with dashboarding and data visualization
  • Analytical mindset — finds insights, proposes solutions, drives them to done
  • Works directly with C-level and non-technical stakeholders
  • Active daily use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) — not just awareness

Nice to have:

  • Fintech / payments / acquiring analytics experience
  • Knowledge of interchange, scheme fees, MDR, and IC++ pricing
  • Visa VAMP / Mastercard MMP familiarity
  • Python (pandas, matplotlib/plotly)
  • AWS Redshift / QuickSight experience
  • AML/CFT reporting knowledge
  • Good English level (at least A2-B1) and fluent russian
